Busy Summer Days=Netflix Nights

We are having one of those busy summer weeks – alarm wake-ups, lunches packed and then camp drop-offs. I then race to the office and it’s a busy week there, and then race out of the office so I’m not late for camp pick-up. Last night we had to go right to the soccer field after a brief stop home for dinner. I’m not complaining….the weather is finally nice, we are healthy and fortunate to have these places to run to. But last night I realized how lucky we are to come home and unwind – we have a roof over our heads, air conditioning if the heat is too much and wait for it…..Netflix to unwind with!  Usually it’s me writing about how much I enjoy Netflix at night with a glass of wine; well last night I went to sit outside on the patio and enjoy the summer night and was thankful for Netflix for keeping my son busy and giving him the down time he so needed. A day of hockey camp followed by a soccer game – he deserved that bowl of popcorn and couch time.  Last night my daughter joined him and they enjoyed one of their fave movies – Inside Out.

One of the neat things about Netflix is it lets you explore any place, culture or time period you’ve ever dreamt of. For example, have you always wanted to see the world? Watch Human Planet; wanted to visit the Arctic? Watch Happy Feet or Frozen Planet. And always wanted to go to the jungle? Watch Wild Ones and you can pretend you are there!

Don’t just watch Netflix – have fun with it! Happy Streaming!
